Korean Luggage Storage Apps: T Locker, T-Luggage and ZimCarry Compared
Say your hotel check-in is at 3 p.m. and you land at 10 a.m. You can wheel a suitcase through Seoul Station, down a few flights of stairs and into a café that has no room for it, or you can leave it somewhere for a few hours. Korea has several apps and services for this, and each one handles a different situation.
This post goes through the main options for visitors: T Locker, T-Luggage, ZimCarry and Lugstay. It also covers what to do if you’d rather not install anything.

Seoul Subway Lockers With the T Locker App
T Locker (또타라커) is the app for lockers inside Seoul subway stations. According to the sources I checked, it covers roughly 270 stations. You can look up a station, see which lockers are free, and reserve one ahead of time. One source mentions booking about two hours in advance, so check the in-app screen for the current rule.
Payment and sign-up matter for visitors. The sources say the app accepts overseas credit cards such as Visa and Mastercard, and that you can sign up with an email address instead of a Korean phone number. Some of them also mention WeChat Pay. Try registering before you leave home, so you aren’t dealing with verification codes on airport Wi-Fi.
Prices run by size and by weekday or weekend. For the first four hours, small lockers are around 2,200 to 3,100 won, medium ones around 3,300 to 4,600 won, and large ones around 4,400 to 6,100 won. Extra hours are charged on top.
Size is the catch. The lockers fit backpacks, carry-ons up to about 20 inches, and 24 to 26 inch suitcases in the large slots. Anything near 28 inches may not fit, so don’t plan around it.

Oversized Bags and Airport Delivery: T-Luggage and ZimCarry
For a 28-inch-plus suitcase, a golf bag or a stroller, A staffed luggage counter is usually a better option. T-Luggage (티러기지) runs staffed storage and delivery at busier points such as Seoul Station, Hongik Univ. Station, Myeongdong, Gangnam and the Gimpo and Incheon airports. Counter hours are usually around 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., though they differ by location, so look at the branch you plan to use.
Delivery is the other half. Both T-Luggage and ZimCarry (짐캐리) can send bags between the airport and a hotel, or between a station and a hotel, on the same day. Same-day delivery depends on a drop-off cutoff, which the sources put at roughly 10 to 11 a.m. If your flight lands in the afternoon, the bag may arrive the next day instead, so read the cutoff on the booking page before paying.
Third-party guides list prices of roughly 15,000 to 25,000 won per bag. It probably varies by route and size.

Lugstay: Storing Bags in Cafés and Shops
Lugstay (럭스테이) places bags in spare space at cafés, restaurants and small shops. It’s a backup for when station lockers are full or your bag is too big for one. The limit is that shop hours apply. Many of these places close in the evening, and not all offer overnight storage, so confirm the closing time when you book.
Station Lockers Without an App
KTX stations such as Seoul Station and Busan Station also have ordinary coin lockers that work with cash or a card on the spot. No app is needed, which helps if your phone data isn’t set up yet. They can fill up quickly on weekends and holidays, so don’t count on a free one at midday on a Saturday.

If You Land Late or Fly Out Early
Subway station lockers can’t be reached once the station shuts for the night, roughly from midnight to 5 a.m. If your flight is early or you get back to the city late, you won’t be able to collect the bag. Either pick a storage option that stays open later or ask your hotel to hold it.
Small Things Worth Doing Before You Go
- Take a photo of the locker number and the exit you used. Station layouts look similar.
- Screenshot the receipt or confirmation screen, including any QR code or password.
- Search for lockers in Naver Map or Kakao Map. Google Maps walking directions in Korea are unreliable, and the Korean apps list the lockers more accurately.

Quick Answers
Do I need a Korean phone number for T Locker? According to the sources, no. The app supports email sign-up and overseas cards.
Will a 28-inch suitcase fit in a subway locker? Probably not. A staffed counter or a delivery service is the safer choice.
Can I get my bag after 11 p.m.? Not from a subway station locker once the station is closed. Look at a shop-based option or your hotel.
Can I send my bag from Incheon Airport to my hotel? Yes, through services such as T-Luggage or ZimCarry, as long as you hand it over before the cutoff.
Consider installing T Locker and Naver Map before your trip, then decide on the day whether the bag stays in a locker or goes straight to the hotel.
